Delhi – The Park

Steps from the 18th century Jantar Mantar observatory and astronomy instruments, The Park New Delhi is a hip and modern five-star hotel designed by acclaimed UK-based architects Conran and Partners. Expect pops of bright colour, arresting pieces of contemporary art and stylish, avant-garde furniture throughout the property’s public and private spaces.

The sleek, designer rooms and suites feature state-of-the-art amenities and access to a wide range of facilities. The Park New Delhi is renowned for its iridescent blue pool, which sits beside a popular restaurant and bar. Cabanas, comfortable chairs and sunloungers shaded by white umbrellas dot the deck surrounding the swimming pool whilst a gym provides guests the ability to keep fit during their stay.

Also onsite is an indulgent wellness spa and beauty salon. Drop in for a relaxing massage after a long day of sightseeing. Aside from Jantar Mantar, other points of interest close to The Park New Delhi include the lively Janpath Market, the shopping district of Connaught Place and impressive India Gate.

Rajasthan and North India Overview

Why Rajasthan & North India: This is one of the most visited and famous areas of India, renowned for its dramatic history, romantic desert cities, ancient and mysterious temples, massive hilltop forts and colourful desert peoples, as well as the most beautiful building in the world, the Taj Majal.

When to Go: The best time to visit Rajasthan is October to mid April. Clear blue skies and a moderate to slightly chilly temperature (particularly Dec – Jan) make these months the perfect time to visit. August and September are warm to occasionally hot in the day with cool evenings.

Combine With: The vibrant city of Varanasi situated on the banks of the holy Ganges River and the temples of Khajuraho with their exquisite carvings and erotic sculptures.

Getting There: Fly into Delhi and then travel by air, road or rail to cities such as Jaipur, Jodhpur, Agra or Varanasi .
