Days 1-3

South Africa, Sun City
Once you’ve settled into your spacious suite at the relaxed Sun City Cabanas, dive into the huge swimming pool, play a round of mini golf or monkey around in the playground. Next day, consider booking a private morning or late afternoon game drive into the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, where over 7000 fantastic animals such as elephant, giraffe and lion reside. You can also spend a day at the sprawling Palace of the Lost City theme park. B (Days 2 and 3)

Days 4-7

South Africa, Madikwe Game Reserve
Transfer by road to your beautiful Family Suite at the first-class Tuningi Safari Lodge. Specialising in families with kids, this exclusive property offers game drives for children aged 5 and up. Babies and toddlers can be looked after whilst parents participate in safari activities during the day. In between gameviewing excursions, little ones can take part in nature treasure hunts or short “bumbles” through the bush. BLD

Day 8

Zambia, Livingstone
Depart for Johannesburg after breakfast, to board your flight to Livingstone. The AVANI Victoria Falls is a family-oriented resort with a great big pool and live music at dinner every evening. BLD

Tour ends Livingstone
After breakfast, conclude your holiday with a tour of the impressive Victoria Falls located less than 2km away. B

What is the climate in South Africa? The inland plateau has a temperate climate (17°-30°C), whilst the coast is subtropical and more humid (22°-30°C). The seasons are the same as Australia, however most of the rain falls in summer. Winters are dry and sunny, but nights can be very cold. The Western Cape is the exception, with a “Mediterranean” climate – cool, wet winters and warm dry summers (17°-24°C).
